CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
TEMPLE CITY CALIFORNIA
MAY 23, 1963
Mayor Nunamaker called the adjourned meeting of the City
Council to order at 7:30 P. M. with the Following roll call:
Present: Councilmen- Dickason, Fitzjohn, Merritt, Tyrell, Nunamaker
Absent; Councilmen -None
Also Present: City Attorney Shatford and City Manager Woollett
The Mayor adjourned the session briefly for an executive
session for personnel purposes regarding re- placement of a Planning
Commissioner.
The adjourned session was re- convened and a discussion was
held by the Councilmen pertaining to the architectural drawing and
modification of the existing library to a City Hall, the plans being
submitted by the firm of Fickes & Fickes. James Fickes of this firm
was present and explained the drawings and plans thoroughly to the
Council with members of the Council thereafter making suggestions con-
cerning the plans. At the conclusion it was decided by majority vote -
that the City Attorney cause a contract to be prepared with the archi-
tect firm of Fickes & Fickes and to meet with Mr. Fickes in the pre-
paration and have it ready for presentation to the City Council on
Monday night, May 27, 1963.
The Council adjourned to the regular meeting on May 27,
1963.
