A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY REQUESTING AN ALLO-
CATION FROM COUNTY AID -TO- CITIES FUNDS
FOR THE RESURFACING, CONSTRUCTION OF CON-
CRETE CROSS GUTTERS AND APPROPRIATE DRAIN-
AGE STRUCTURES ON LAS TUNAS DRIVE FROM
CLOVERLY AVENUE TO 150 FEET EAST OF ROWLAND
AVENUE IN THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has appropriated certain
monies to the City of Temple City from the County Aid -to- Cities Fund,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City now desires to budget the
expenditure of certain of these monies, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Temple City finds
and determines that the proposed improvement is of general County in-
terest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1. That the County of Los Angeles is hereby request-
ed to•allocate the sum of $26,017.35 from County Aid -to- Cities funds
to the City of Temple City for the purpose of resurfacing, construction
of concrete cross gutters and appropriate drainage structures on Las
Tunas Drive from Cloverly Avenue to 150 feet east of Rowland Avenue
in the City of Temple City.
SECTION 2. That the Road Department of the County of Los
Angeles prepare the necessary plans and construct the proposed improve-
ment, using Road Department day labor forces, and all charges for the
aforementioned work shall be deducted from the approved requested
allocation.
