Bill Donnelly commented only the actual naming of the park or fields could be discussed in closed session. Councilmember Schmidt expressed concern that the name "Evergreen Mill" would cause confusion since Evergreen Mill Elementary is nearby. After further discussion it was decided that legislation will be provided on October 10th to name the park, Evergreen Mill Park, and an advertisement to solicit recommendations of names for the field, pavilion and gardens. Councilmember Zoldos commented the park site is being used as a dump and storage site by Loudoun County and asked staff to monitor it. Councilmember Atwell added the contractor who is installing the utility lines at that site has not attempted to implement any erosion control.
