China King Reopening on Monday, February 22, 2010
Leesburg, VA (February 19, 2010) – China King, located at 5 South King Street in downtown
Leesburg, will celebrate their re‐opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. on
Monday, February 22, 2010. Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, light refreshments will be
served. The restaurant will open for lunch at 11:30 a.m.
The popular downtown eatery closed in November 2009 following a fire in the alley behind
their building and has been extensively renovated.
“We would like to say a huge ‘Thank You’ to the countless friends, patrons and local businesses
that have reached out to us during our renovation period. Special thanks to Debi Parry, John
Wells, the other staff members at the Town of Leesburg, the Leesburg Downtown Business
Association, and Jennifer Frankfield at Otter Creek Collections. We look forward to seeing you
soon,” said Mindy Whang, co‐owner of China King.
