RESOLUTION CORRECTING ACCOUNTING LEDGER ERROR CONCERNING
MISC REVENUE-GENERAL 001-950-4700 AND
LOCAL OPTION REVENUE 121-950-4090
WHEREAS, on November 12, 2015, $4980.62 recorded as "UNKNOWN DEPOSIT FROM ST.
IOWA" was placed in account 001-950-4700 MISC REVENUE-GENERAL which should have
been recorded in account 121-950-4090 LOCAL OPTION REVENUE;
WHEREAS, the recent audit by the State of Iowa found the ledger error;
WHEREAS, the ledger error can be corrected by transferring $4980.62 from the 001-950-4700
MISC REVENUE-GENERAL to the 121-950-4090 LOCAL OPTION REVENUE account;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Riverdale, Iowa
authorizes the transfer to correct the ledger error by transferring $4980.62 from the 001-950-
4700 MISC REVENUE-GENERAL to the 121-950-4090 LOCAL OPTION REVENUE
account.
This Resolution shall take immediate effect.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED THIS 18th day of April, 2017.
