Home My Public Portal About080-1979 - APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FROM THE FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING TRUST FUNDOMINANCE NO. 80-1979 AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE FROM THE FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING TRUST FUND. WHEREAS, the State and Locale -Fiscal Assistance Act of 1972, Title I of Public Law 95-512 was approved October 20, 1972. WHEREAS, Section 31.40 of Part 51, Chapter I, Subtitle S, Title B, Title 31 of the Code of Federal Regulations provides as follows: A recipient Government which receives entitlement funds under the Act shall: (c) Provice for the expenditure of entitlement funds in accordance with the laws and procedures applicable to the expenditures of it own revenues; WHEREAS, persuant to the said State and Local Fiscal Assistance Act, the proper legal officers of the City of Richmond, Indiana, have established a trust fund known as the Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Dund, WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget; NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COhJMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE,COUNTY, INDIANA: SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation, the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the Federal Revenue Sharing Vest Fund for certain ordinary and necessary capital expenditures, said sun being subject to all laws governing the same.
