MAY 31, 1963
The City Council met at the City Hall at 7:30 P. M. on
Friday, May 31, 1963, for the first public hearing on the proposed
budget for the City for 1963 -196k, The Council reviewed and consider-
ed the proposals on accounts No, 1000 to No. 3000. Following due
discussion and consideration they recommended several changes to the
original proposals and adjourned the meeting to Wednesday night, June
5, 1963, at the Chamber of Commerce office at 7:30 P. M. as the Council
Chambers were being used for the regular Traffic Commission meeting
on that evening.

JUNE 5, 1963
The City Council met at the offices of the Chamber of Com-
merce at 7:30 P. M. on June 5, 1963, to consider the balance of the -
proposed budget for the City for the fiscal year 1963 -64. Their re-
view and study covered accounts No, 3000, Law Enforcement, through
No, 8100, Recreation, Following careful study and consideration the
Council recommended several changes. Councilmah Dic'kason left the
meeting at 10:15 P. M., and Council adjourned at -11 :25 P. M. until
the next regular meeting on June 10, 1963, at 7:30 P. M. at the City
Hall.
