APPROVING CHANGE ORDER - ABBOTT CONTRACTING COMPANY, INC.
WHEREAS, on April 18, 1996 the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret
approved a contract to Abbott Contracting Company, Inc. in the amount of $573,447.66;
and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has informed the governing body that a modification
of the contract for additional fencing around the air conditioning unit is reasonable and
necessary; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has further certified that said modifications were
unforeseen at the time the original contract was awarded;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the sum of $1300.00 is hereby added to
the original contract and payment of the modified amount is hereby approved.
Adopted this 15th day of May, 1997 and certified
as a true copy of the original on May 16, 1997.
