A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TEMPLE AMENDING THE AP-
POINTMENT OF THE COUNTY ENGINEER OF
THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES AS THE CITY
ENGINEER
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The County Engineer of the County of Los Angeles
was duly appointed as the City Engineer of the City of Temple City on
the 25th day of May 1960, for the purpose of performing those engineer-
ing functions which may be requested by the City Council, and aonroved
by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles pursuant to
the General Services Agreement or other agreements between the City
and the County.
SECTION 2. The County Engineer is hereby authorized to
designate his Chief Deputy to approve on his behalf any official City
business under his jurisdiction, when it is necessary for him to be
absent from his place of work due to illness, official business, or
vacation.
SECTION 3. To expedite the approval of certain matters,
the County Engineer may delegate certain of his deputies to approve
on his behalf City sanitary sewer and storm drain plans, tentative
subdivision requirements, letters of transmittal and reports on ac-
tivities.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution and shall transmit a certified copy thereof to the
County of Los Angeles.
