RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 100 Leaves
The Town Board of the Town of Fraser met in regular
session on October 7, 1963, wztk at 8 :15 P.M. with the
following members present: Mayor Clayton, Clerk Emal, En!
Councilmen Howell, Johnson and Roberts.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved
as read.
Bank statement was presented as of 9/27/63 showing a
balance of $6,658.64.
The following bills were presented and the clerk instrucld
to draw warrants for same:
Middle Park Gas Co.
Mountain Parks Electric
Mountain States Tel Tel
Charlene J. Emal
Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried that the bills
be duly paid.
Discussion was held on keeping the mill levy for the
next year at 28 mills, and clerk instructed to draw up a
budget for 1964. Appropriation to be: 10 mills Water
8 mills salary
6 mills Streets Alleys
4 mills 0.T.R.
After discussion, a motion was made, seconded and
unanimously carried that $3,000 be transferred to Central
Bank and Trust Co. to be deposited in the special water
bond retirement fund, in order to retire a $5,000 bond
in 1964.
Discussion was held on levying a town tax on cigaret sales,
to be discussed further at the next meeting.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned
at 9 :15 P.M.
