AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL,
ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM THE
WAYNE COUNTY FOUNDATION
WHEREAS, The Wayne County Foundation has grant funding available in its Wayne
County Foundation Youth Grant program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond Department of Parks and Recreation desires to
submit a grant application to obtain funds that will be used for the cost of
supplies for programs such as Kidz Nite Out, Lil' Kidz Club, Pre -School
Open Gym, and School's Out; and
WHEREAS, no local match is required.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
The City of Richmond Department of Parks and Recreation is hereby
authorized to submit a grant application for a Wayne County Foundation
Youth Grant.
2. The City of Richmond Department of Parks and Recreation is authorized to
accept said grant funding in an amount up to Five Hundred Dollars and Zero
Cents ($500.00).
3. Said funds if awarded shall be appropriated for supplies for programs such as
Kidz Nite Out, Lil' Kidz Club, Pre -School Open Gym, and School's Out.
4. No City of Richmond funds shall be required for said grant.
Passed and adopted this 7th day of _April 2008, by the Common Council of the
City of Richmond, Indiana.
