AWARD OF BID-OFFICE SUPPLIES
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council of the Township of Woodbridge caused to be
advertised in the Home News & Tribune that sealed bids would be received by the
Municipal Council of the Township of Woodbridge on February 13, 2001 at the
Municipal Complex for:
CONTRACT FOR OFFICE SUPPLIES 2001
BOROUGH OF CARTERET
and
THE TOWNSHIP OF WOODBRIDGE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET, that the responsible bid of Corporate Express, 35
Melanie Lane, Whippany, NJ 07981, be and the same is hereby accepted. All
requirements have been fulfilled; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, additional discounts are as follows:
1. Furniture and accessories-40%
2. Electronics and computer supplies-32%; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor, Municipal Clerk, Purchasing Agent
and Chief Financial Officer be and hereby are authorized and directed to execute any and
all documents that may be necessary for the purpose of making or completing a contract
between said successful bidder and the Borough covenng the aforesaid, provided the
proper appropriation has been or will be made.
Adopted this 15th day of March, 2001
and certified as a true copy of the
original on March 16, 2001.
