HomeMy Public PortalAboutTBM 1991-10-09TOWN BOARD OCTOBER 9, 1991 The regular meeting of the Board was called to order by Mayor Jensen at 7:30 p.m. Board present were Buchheister, Muhlbauer, Klancke and Finlay and Johnston. Also present were Brown and Winter. Representatives from COG presented an update of programs offered by them as well as various accomplishment over the past year including Water Quality programs. Linda Dodge reviewed that from her proposed purchase of the old post office property from the church it became evident that the building sets at least 3' onto the Town property being lot 3. She would like to have deed to 8 feet of lot 3 from the Town before she would consider buying the property, she also stated that she would certainly provide easement for parking across the back half of Lot 2. This would facilitate better use of the Old Fire House property. Staff directed to have the Town Attorney review the options and costs to determine the direction the Town can go on this problem. The owner will be expected to pay the cost of this once they are know. Finnegan's on the Fraser Liquor licence renewal. Clerk reported that document and fees proper. Finlay moved to approve the renewal of this license pending a favorable report from the Sheriff's Dept. 2nd Johnston, carried. Byer Peak Restaurant liquor license renewal. Documents and fees in order. Johnston moved to renew this license pending a favorable report from the sheriff's Dept. 2nd Muhlbauer, carried. Bills presented for payment. Klancke moved to pay these bills, 2nd Finlay, carried. Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as written Manager gave the to date report on various projects. Agriculture report. Amtrak operations Easement from D R G for path and road. Open space, allowed usage Building use was discussed with regards to private parties using the building and having alcoholic beverage. Winter instructed to ask the insurance company. Board reviewed the written goals that were produced from the Retreat meeting. 1992 proposed budget was submitted to be reviewed at subsequent meetings. No further business, meeting adjourned at 11:30 p.m.
