AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AN EQUIPMENT RESERVE FUND
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BEL
AIRE, KANSAS.
Section 1.
Establishment of an equipment reserve fund:
There is hereby established, pursuant to Kansas statute
an equipment reserve fund to finance acquisition of
equipment. Any monies credited to such fund shall not be
subject to the provisions of K.S.A. 79-2925 through 79-2937,
and amendments thereto
Section 2.
Definitions:
Equipment shall include machinery, vehicles, and any
other equipment or personal property including, but not
limited to computer hardware and software, which the City is
authorized to purchase for municipal purposes.
Section 3.
Effective date:
This ordinance shall take effect and be enforced from
and after its publication in the official city newspaper.
