Mayor Berner called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Roll Call vote:Joann Kahler, Mike Ryan,Jim Bartels, Peggy Upton, Royce Phillips. Also present: Brett Mehmen(arrived @ 6:46),Attorney Michael, Engineer Frederick,Administrator Jackson. Motion Ryan'to approve the agenda,seconded Bartels.All ayes. Motion carried. TiffinFest Update: Councilperson Upton commented everything is on track, but short-handed with volunteers. Next meeting is Tuesday,June 25, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.in the Springmier Library. ' Walkability/Bikeability Update:Johnson County Public Health received a grant for this project.The County has some supplemental funding to assist Cities with updates. Nursing students,as part of their clinicalrassessed the town sidewalks and provided an update. Johnson County Sheriff report:When hunting permits are issued,they would like a copy. Upton asked for a credit on one of the Engineering invoices.City needs to recover fees from developers. Have not received back agreement back from railroad to date. Engineer Frederick reported: Water main to industrial park is seeded and done:Met with DOT on HWY 6. Public Works Mehmen reported: Repairs on Redbird Run to fix hollowing out of street and broken sections and replaced intake at Roberts Ferry and Goldfinch.Crosswalk on top of hill on Roberts Ferry to add some sign-age and more visibility. Also need to have Sheriff monitor speed. Mater,main at Summerhays and 3rd almost complete.Almost done with water main from water plant to Ireland Avenue. ` " Councilmen Ryan:inquired about annexation progress. Mayor Berner stated the Smith's verbally agreed to sign. Councilmen Phillips:Asked for further justification on what has been charged thus far for Ireland.
