AUTHORIZING PAYM~qTS OF LIABILITY l)ff}UiJt'tBIf,-
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret (Bo '~orough") was a defendant in mn
action by Eileen Perlman (The '~laintiff") titled, perlmmn v. cmrteret
Boron, et al; and
WM~RFAS, Coregis Insurance Com[~m~y ("Coregis") pur~mnt to an insurance
policy umclertook the d,Fense and iud~nnificatiou of the Borough; mhd
W~REAS, Coregis has settled the mmtter with the Plaintiff for an mno~nt
within the de~-tible portiom of the insurance policy; and
{4H~S, the Borough is obligated to m~ke payments within the de~-tible
~nount;
NOW, ~]~.EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED thmt:
1) Payment to Coregis in the ~mount of $20,000.00 is hereby authorized.
2) That release of said fuuds by Coregis to the Plaintiff is conditioned
upon meceip~ of a general rel~m~e executed by the Plaintiff or
her estate in favor of the Borough, its regents, employees and
indemnities.
