A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON, CALIFORNIA, GIVING THE DIRECTOR OF
ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES LIMITED AND TEMPORARY
AUTHORITY TO EXPEND FUNDS OF THE CITY, SUBJECT TO
THE CITY COUNCIL'S APPROVAL OF THE DEMAND REGISTER,
AS REQUIRED BY LAW, PENDING ADOPTION OF THE FY
2013/14 ANNUAL BUDGETS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Director of Administrative Services is hereby authorized to expend funds
of the City, subject to the City Council's approval of the Demand Register, as required by law,
for the purpose of paying ongoing City expenses until budgets are adopted by the City Council,
or September 30, 2013, whichever occurs first.
Section 2. The level of such expenditures and authorization is limited to the
FY 2012/13 level of appropriations previously approved by the City Council, and those items
that the City Council has subsequently authorized by separate Council action.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution;
shall enter the same in the book of original resolutions of said City; and shall make a minute
order of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of
said City, in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.

whole number of members of the City Council is five; that the foregoing resolution, being
Resolution No. 13-069 was duly and regularly adopted by said Council at a regular meeting
duly and regularly held on the 2nd of July, 2013, and that the same was passed and adopted by
the following vote:
