AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA TO AMEND THE CITY COMMISSION
AGENDA TO INCLUDE A REPORT FROM THE 17TH
CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT OF FLORIDA AND FROM THOSE
STATE LEGISLATORS REPRESENTING THE CITY OF OPA-
LOCKA; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS;
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT AND REPEALER; PROVIDING
FOR CODIFICATION AND SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, Section 2-45, of the Code of the City of Opa-locka, Florida, sets the
Agenda for City Commission Meetings; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to include a report from the 17th
Congressional District, and from those state legislators representing the City of Opa-locka.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA,AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. Section 2.45 of the Code of the City of Opa-locka Florida is hereby
amended as follows:
a. A Report from the 17th Congressional District of Florida is created, to
be Item 9.
b. A report from any State Senators representing the City of Opa-locka is
created, to be Item 10.
c. A report from any State Representatives representing the City of Opa-
locka is created, to be Item 11.
d. Section 2-45, Items 9 thru 21 will be renumbered as Items 12 through
24.

Section 3 All ordinances or Code provisions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
Section 4. If any portion, section, phrase or clause of this Ordinance is held invalid or
unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such rulings shall not affect the validity
of the remaining portions of this Ordinance.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall be codified in the Code of Ordinances when the code
is recodified.
Section 6. This Ordinance shall, upon effective immediately upon passage by the
City Commission.
