Dear Vivian
My background is as follows:
I have been a full time resident on Tybee Island since 2006 and homeowner since 2001. I have
been employed in the Food Service/ Hotel Industry since 1972 working in many functions.
Since 1986 I have started and sold several companies in both marketing and manufacturing that
specialized the Food Service /Retail Equipment . In 2004, I semiretired, keeping as a sideline,
MC Imports LLC a Consulting Import Company. Since then I have also volunteered for several
organizations and at my children's schools. My background gives me real insight into the
everyday problems of many of Tybee Islands business. The need of balance and how to come to
win win solution in solving issues. I am a true believer in the 80/20 rule and look for those
opportunities that can give the best or biggest benefit for the buck.

PUBLIC NOTICE: Community Resource Committee Applicants Sought
The Mayor and City Council of Tybee Island are considering applicants for the Community Resource
Committee. Community Resource Committee members serve three year terms (qualifications are listed
in the full notice - click here). Please submit your resume to Vivian Woods, City Clerk or assistant
Denise Woodard - appointments will continue by Council until vacancies are filled.
