A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY REQUESTING THE BOARD
OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES
TO PERMIT THE REGISTRAR OF VOTERS OF SAID
COUNTY TO RENDER SPECIFIED SERVICES TO THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY, RELATING TO THE CONDUCT
OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD
IN SAID CITY ON APRIL 10, 1962
WHEREAS, a general municipal election is to be held in the
City of Temple City on April 10, 1962;
WHEREAS, in the course of conduct of said election and in re-
lation thereto it will be necessary to mail sample ballots and polling
place cards to the registered voters of the City, and it will facili-
tate such mailing if the Registrar of Voters of the County of Los Angel-
es will prepare and furnish the City the imprinting of the names and
addresses of the registered voters of said City on I. B. M. polling
place card forms furnished by the City and after bursting the forms,
will insert the polling place card and sample ballot into envelopes,
all to be furnished by the City; and
WHEREAS, all necessary expense in performing this service
shall be paid by the City of Temple City;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City
does hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER, as follows:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the provisions of Section 22003
of the Elections Code of the State of California, this City Council
hereby requests the Board of Supervisors of said County to permit the
IRegistrar of voters to prepare and furnish to said City, for use in
conducting said election to be held on April 10, 1962, the imprinting
of the names and addresses of the registered voters of said City on
I. B. M. polling place card forms furnished by the City and after
bursting the forms, to insert the polling place card and sample ballots
into envelopes, all to be furnished by the City.
SECTION P. That said City shall reimburse said County for
services performed when the work is completed and upon presentation to
the City of a properly approved bill.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to forward
without delay to said Board of Supervisors and to said Registrar of
Voters, each a certified copy of this resolution.

Notice is hereby given that a general municipal
Election will be held in the City of Temple City on Tuesday,
the 10th day of April, 1962, for the following officers:
For Three (3) members of the City Council
(Full term of four years)
The polls will be open between the hours of 7:00
A. M. and 7:00 P: M.
