April 16, 2013
The City Council of Medina, Minnesota met in special session on April 16, 2013 at 6:00
p.m. in the City Hall Chambers. Acting Mayor Weir presided.
I. ROLL CALL
Members present: Martinson, Anderson, Pederson and Weir.
Members absent: Crosby
Also present: City Planner Dusty Finke, Public Works Director Steve Scherer, Finance
Director Joe Rigdon, and City Administrator Scott Johnson.
II. Utility Discussion
Joe Rigdon provided the City Council with long-term projections on the water, sewer,
and stormwater utility funds. City Council directed staff to shift $1,000 from the sewer
access fee to the water access fee. An updated fee schedule will be brought forward for
Council approval with the directed change at the May 7th meeting. Also, staff was
directed to look into area charges for access fees.
III. ADJOURN
Acting Mayor Weir adjourned the meeting at 6: SS p.m.
