Minutes Visit with Joe Johnston regarding replatting request—formal application not received at This time Consider Concept Plan from Ed Cole for Northeast corner of city— formal application not Received at this time Continue Work on Rezoning amendment for a new R 2.5 Zoning Adjournment i Tiffin Planning and Zoning Commission April 5, 2000 A regular meeting of the Tiffin Planning and Zoning Commission was brought to order by Chair Dan O'Halloran on Wednesday, 6:30 p.m., April 5, 2000 at the Tiffin Fire Station. Planning and Zoning Members present: Dan O'Halloran, Tina Walls, Melvin il Reeve and Steve Berner. Absent: Terry Richardson. Also present: Mayor Glenn Potter, Jim Bartels, Mike Gericke and Vic Zender. Motion Berner, second O'Halloran to approve printed minutes. Ayes: Walls, O'Halloran, Reeve, and Berner. Absent: Richardson. Motion carried. it Joe Johnston presented his amended preliminary and final plat to the commission for the Johnston-Potterfield Subdivision. Lot B will be deeded to the city, the dimensions of Lot 1 and Lot 2 are increased in width, and the dimensions of Lots 7, 8, 9 and 10 are decreased. No improvements are required to the private access road south of Lots 7, 8,9 >.' "'" and 10 until such time as the lots are developed for building sites. The amended preliminary and final plat include a 10 foot easement for sidewalk and 20 feet easement for construction work. Joe Johnston inquired into need for a safety fence along the creek side of the sidewalk. Recommendation will be obtained from the city engineer in this platting. A special meeting set for Joe Johnston amendment to preliminary and final platting of Johnston-Potterfield Subdivision along Potter Street for Wednesday, April 19, 2000 at 6:30 p.m. Ed Cole and representative from Hart Engineering was present to consider a concept proposal for the northeast corner of the city for a 44 acrea area of development. The area is proposed for R-1, R-2 and R2.5 zoning. Planning and Zoning will consider once again at the next regular meeting of the commission. Study work done on a new proposed R-2.5 zoning for the City of Tiffin. Proposed zoning will be passed to the city attorney for draft and submittal to the city council.
