AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR UNSAFE BUILDINGS
DEMOLITION LOAN FUND
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret, desires to apply for and obtain a loan
from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs for approximately
$450,000.00 to carry out a project to Demolish the Sewage Treatment Plant
Located at 339 Roosevelt Avenue.
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, that the Borough of Carteret does hereby
authorize the application for such a loan; and upon receipt of the loan agreement
from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, does further authorize
the execution of the agreement; and also, upon receipt of the fully executed
agreement from the Department, does further authorize the expenditure of funds
pursuant to the terms of said agreement between the Borough of Carteret and the
New Jersey Department of Community Affairs.
BE, IF FUTHER RESOLVED, that the persons whose names, titles and
signatures appear below are authorized to sign the appIication, the agreement,
and any other documents in connection therewith:
