Loudoun Physicians for Women Announces New Location
Longtime Leesburg Medical Practice Expands at Leesburg Commerce Center
Leesburg, VA (March 26, 2010) – Loudoun Physicians for Women has moved from its former
location of over 25 years at Colonial Square on Edwards Ferry Road to an expanded 3,600
square foot location at 161 Fort Evans Road NE, Suite 320 in the Leesburg Commerce Center
building.
The obstetrics & gynecology practice was opened in Leesburg in 1973 by Dr. Michael
Willoughby, who was later joined by Dr. Harry McLeod and Dr. Anne Brown. The practice was
renamed Loudoun Physicians for Women in 2002.
When asked about the recent move, Dr. Anne Brown, who has been with the practice since
1994, stated, “We felt the need to maintain a presence in the Town of Leesburg to better serve
our many Western Loudoun and West Virginia clients who have been so loyal to the practice
over the years. We were also looking to enlarge and update our space and to have a better
parking lot.” Loudoun Physicians for Women will continue to serve their Eastern Loudoun
patients at their Potomac Falls location.
Andy Lauer of Tetra Partnerships, developer of Leesburg Commerce Center, commented, “Tetra
Partnerships is very excited to welcome Loudoun Physicians for Women to the Leesburg
Commerce Center. Their purchase of their office condo shows their commitment to the future
of Leesburg Commerce Center and the future of the Leesburg business community.”
In addition to Dr. Brown, the practice also includes Dr. Jane Allen, Dr. Kim Freeman and Dr.
Cathleen Mills. Michele Hodge, WHNP (Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner), recently joined
the practice and brings with her more than 20 years experience in women’s health. For more
