AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE WITHIN THE PARK AND RECREATION FUND.
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more money
than was appropriated in the annual budget;
NOW THEREFORE 8E IT ORDAINED 8Y THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE
COUNTY, INDIANA:
SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following
additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and .ordered set apart out of
the several appropriations herein named and for the purposes herein specified,
subject to the laws governing the same:

SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations
now have unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes for
which appropriated, it is further ordained that the following existing
appropriations be reduced in the following amounts.

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after

EXCERPTS OF THE MEETING OF THE COMMON
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session
in the Council Chambers in the Municipal Building of said City February
21, 1977 , at the hour of 7:30 P.M.
Councilman Carter presided with the following members present: Messrs.
Ahaus , erman , Cornett , Elstro ,
Merchanthouse , Mills _ Paust , Williams ,
Absent: None I ,
The following business was had to -wit:

The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the
Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of
Richmond, Indiana, on the dates of February 10 and February 17
Said notices stated that a public hear ng Would be held on the 1-Tst day o
February, 1977 , by the Common Council to consider additioneo-ino
Lions a-- s Provided for in Ordinance No. 3182-1977 , within the City of
Richmond, Indiana. The proof of publication and posting of notices were
examined and found to be correct and in order. Councilman Mills
moved the proof of publication and posting of notices be received and or ered
filed, seconded by Councilman Elstro , and on voice vote the motion
was carried.
The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 3182-1977 .
Councilman Mills moved for engrossment of Ordinance No. 3182-1977,
seconded by Councilman Paust and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.
Councilman Merchanthouse moved to suspend the rules and place Ordinance No.
3182-1977 on third reading by title only, seconded by Councilman Ahaus.
After hearing all persons present, Ordinance No. 3182-1977 was placed on
final passage or rejection and on a call of the roll e follWng was recorded:

PROPOSED ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS
Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of the City of Richmond, Wayne County,
Indiana, that the proper legal officers of said Municipal Corporation at
their regular meeting place at 7:30 o'clock P.M., on 214.t day of

Board of Tax Commissioners, which Board, upon receipt, will hold a further
hearing within fifteen days at the County Auditor's Office of said County,
or at such other place as may be designated. At such hearing taxpayers
objecting to any of such additional appropriations may be. heard. Interested
taxpayers may inquire of the County Auditor when and where such hearing
will be held.
