AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A "SPECIAL USE" IN AN M-1 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT, OF ORDINANCE NO. 2325-1968 COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, ADOPTED JUNE 3, 1968.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
as follows:
SECTION 1. As provided in Article 22, Section 22.01 and more speci-
fically provided in Article 48 of Ordinance No. 2325-1968, commonly
known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Richmond, Indiana, the
following described use of the following described real estate is
allowed as a Special Use to sell building materials, cabinets, sink
tops, office equipment, etc., located at 930 North "E" Street, in
the City of Richmond, Indiana; more particularly described; to wit:
Part of Official Map #103 City of Richmond
SECTION 2. As a condition of the aforesaid Special Use and as an addi-
tional restriction on said use, the following requirements shall here-
after and at all times be met by the owner, leasee or any person, firm
or corporation using such real estate.
SECTION 3. The Zoning Administrator of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
is hereby authorized and directed, upon enactment and publication of
this Ordinance, to record and approve the issuance of a permit for
the establishment of the use herein allowed.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and affect from and
after its passage and approval by the Mayor, and publication is by law
required.

Re: Ordinance No. 3200-1977 - Roy L. Moore requesting Special
Use in M-1 Light Industrial District in order to sell
building material, cabinets, sink tops, office equipment,
etc., on property located at 930 North "E" Street
Dear Mr. Carter, Members of the Council and Mrs. Trimble:
The Richmond City Plan. Commission held a public hearing on Tuesday,
May 24, 1977, at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the Richmond
Municipal Building to hear the request of Roy L. Moore requesting
Special. Use in M-1 Light Industrial District in order to sell
building material, cabinets, sink tops, office equipment, etc.,
on property located at 930 North "E" Street.
There were no remonstrators in favor of or .in opposition to this
request. Thirteen (13) letters had been sent to adjoining property
owners. One (1) letter was received in favor of this.petition.
The Plan Commission voted unanimously in favor of this request.
