REQUESTING APPROVAL OF INSERTION OF $68,500
THE 1997 BUDGET REVEND~ A%-AILABLE FROM THE :'
URBAN ENTERPRISE ZONE PROGRAM
WHEREAS, N.J.S. 40:4-87 provides that the Director of Local
Government Services may approve theinsertion' of any special.
item of revenue in the budget of any municipality when such
item shall have been made available by law and the amount
thereof was not determined at the time of the adoption of the
budget, and
WHEREAS, ~aid Director may also approve the insertion of any
item of appropriation for equal amount.
NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED that the Borough of Carteret
hereby requests the Director of the Division of Local
Governmen~ Services to approve the inserti'on of an item of
revenue in the budget of the year 1997 in the sum of $68,500
which item is now available as a revenue from the Umban
Enterprise Zone Program.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a like sum of $68,500 be..and the
same is hereby appropriated under the caption of:
Urban Enterprise Zone Program $68,500
Adopted this 17th day of July, 1997
and certified as a true copy of the
original on July 18~ 1997.
