A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY APPOINTING
DONOVAN R. JOHNSON AS PARK MAINTENANCE
MAN, MARLA SILVEY AS CLERK - TYPIST,
LEONARD BURWELL AS RECREATION DIRECTOR,
AND STEVEN VANNATTA AS RECREATION
HELPER
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Donovan R. Johnson is hereby employed as
Park Maintenance Man to serve at the pleasure of the City Manager.
That Donovan R. Johnson shall be paid the salary of $417.00 per month.
All overtime work when properly authorized shall be paid at the rate
of $2.40 per hour.
SECTION 11. That Marla Silvey is hereby employed as Clerk -
Typist to serve at the pleasure of the City Manager. That Marla
Silvey shall be paid the salary of $303.00 per month.
SECTION 111. That Leonard Burwell is hereby appointed as
a part -time employee of the Recreation Department, to serve as a
Recreation Leader at the hourly rate of $1.94 per hour.
SECTION 1V. That Steven Vannatta is hereby appointed as
a part -time employee of the Recreation Department, to serve as a
Recreation Helper at the hourly rate of $1.27 per hour.
SECTION V. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution approved and adopted this 23d day of July, 1962.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 23d day of July, 1962, by the following
roll call vote of the Council:
AYES: Councilmen - Dickason, Fitzjohn, Merritt, Nunamaker, Tyrell
NOES: Councilmen -None
