RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER
WHEREAS, on April 18, 1996 the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret
approved a contract to Abbott Construction, Inc. in the amount of $573,447.66; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has informed the Governing Body that a
modification of the contract, specifically the addition of an electrical control box for
field lighting, is reasonable and necessary; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has further certified that said modifications in
the amount of $900.00 for weather stripping and $3,553.00 for an increase in the total
area of the building resulting from an error on the architectural drawings were
unforeseen at the time the original contract was awarded;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the sum of $4,453.00 is hereby
added to the original contract and payment of the modified amount is hereby
approved.
Adopted this 17th day of July, 1997
and certified as a true copy of the
original on July 18, 1997.

New Jersey, 07008, hereinafter the "BOROUGH".
