Home My Public Portal About12-26 Amend Ordinance No. 05-01 County Commission Report 15`Reading: SEPTEMBER 26,2012 2'd Reading: OCTOBER 24, 2012 Public Hearing: OCTOBER 24, 2012 Adopted: OCTOBER 24, 2012 Effective Date: OCTOBER 25, 2012 Sponsored by: Vice Mayor Johnson ORDINANCE NO. 12-26 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 05- 01, SECTION 2-45 OF THE CODE TO ALSO INCLUDE DISTRICT 2 COUNTY COMMISSIONER REPORT; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT AND REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, as a result of redistricting, Opa-locka is now a part of County Commission District 1 and County Commission District 2; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to amend Ordinance No. 05-01, Section 2-45 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Opa-locka, Florida to include District 2; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA: Section 1.The recitals to the Preamble herein are incorporated by reference. Section 2. Section 5. CODIFICATION. This ordinance shall be codified in the Code of Ordinances when the code is recodified. Section 6. EFFECTIVE DATE.
