RESOLUTION NO. 62 -226
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA, VACATING
EASEMENT WITHIN TRACT NO. 11695 PURSUANT
TO ORDINANCE NO. 62 -77 AND PUBLIC SERVICE
EASEMENTS VACATION LAW
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RE-
SOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. On June 11, 1962, the City Council of the City of
Temple City adopted Ordinance No. 62 -77, wherein and whereby the City
Council of the City of Temple City declared its intention to proceed
to vacate that certain easement hereinafter described in Section 2,
pursuant to Article 5, Title 5, Division 1 of the Government Code.
(Public Service Easements Vacation Law) (Gov. Code 50430 - 50445)
SECTION 2. The easement, subject of Ordinance No. 62 -77
and this Resolution is described as follows:
That certain light and air easement on Lot 8, Block B of
Tract 11695, as said light and air easement is shown on
Tract Map 11695, which Tract Map 11695 is recorded in
Book 215, pages 23 and 24 of Maps, Official Records of
Los Angeles County.
SECTION 3. On August 13, 1962, at 7:30 P. M. in the City
Hall of the City of Temple City at 9664 East Las Tunas Drive; Temple
City, C lifornia, the City Council duly held a public hearing in ac-
cordance with Ordinance No. 62 -77.
SECTION 4. The City Council of the City of Temple City ex-
pressly finds from all of the evidence submitted that the easement des-
cribed in Section 2 of this Resolution and as shown on Tract Map 11695
is unnecessary for present or prospective public use and the City Coun-
cil does hereby order the vacation thereof.
SECTION 5. The Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this
Resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Los
Angeles County, California.
