Minutes of June 6, 2016
Attendees: Patricia Duarte, Kathy Laflash, Owen Mangan, Kathy Dlugolecki
Also Present: Maria Casey, HR Director; Connor Degan, Town Clerk
The meeting was called to order at 5:36 PM
1) Connor Degan, newly elected Town Clerk, was in attendance during the Community Open
Forum as an observer. Connor remained for the rest of the meeting.
2) Patricia updated the committee on the Town Clerk position and the Charter Review
Commission. Patricia attended the May 18th meeting of the CRC and presented slides along with
the Personnel Committee’s recommendation that the Town Clerk should be an appointed
position. Further discussion ensued. The CRC’s first scheduled public hearing is scheduled for
September and the second public hearing will be held in November.
3) The minutes from the April 4th meeting were reviewed. Kathy Laflash moved to approve the
4/4/16 minutes, seconded by Owen Mangan. Unanimous vote followed. The minutes from the
April 21st meeting were reviewed. Patricia moved to approve, Kathy Laflash seconded.
Unanimous vote followed.
The meeting adjourned at 6:11 PM
