Verizon Wireless Evolution Store Opens in Village at Leesburg
$1,000 donation to Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter
will be presented at ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, April 30, 2010
Leesburg, VA (April 27, 2010) – At 12:30 p.m. on Friday, April 30, 2010, Town of Leesburg
officials will hold a ribbon cutting for the grand opening of the Verizon Wireless Evolution Store
located at 1612 Village Market Boulevard SE in the Village at Leesburg.
The Verizon Wireless Evolution Store will incorporate a number of innovative systems and
operational enhancements designed to streamline the sales process and increase customer
satisfaction.
“We invite everyone to visit our new store and use our interactive simulators to test our latest
devices and technologies first‐hand,” said Jonathan Humphrey, store manager. “We offer
devices suited to everyone’s needs and budget. It’s our goal to provide a positive wireless
experience every day and that’s why we continue to invest in our local stores, or local network,
and the local community.”
During the ribbon cutting ceremony, Verizon Wireless will present a $1,000 donation to the
Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter (LAWS). The donation is made possible through the
company’s HopeLine® Phone Recycling Program, which collects used cell phones to be recycled
or sold and donates the proceeds in the form of cash grants and wireless phones to advocacy
groups for use by abuse survivors. Citizens can participate by dropping off their no‐longer‐used
wireless phones to the store.
