AIRPORT ADVISORY COMMITTEE
MINUTES
Friday, April 28, 1995
A special meeting of the McCall Airport Advisory Committee was called to order at 2:08 p.m.,
Friday, April 28, 1995 in the conference room of Toothman-Orton Engineering at the McCall
Municipal Airport by Chairman Anderson. The purpose of the meeting was to meet with
representatives ofJudd DeBoer to exchange information and coordinate our respective development
plans.
Members Mike Anderson, Rick Fereday, and Gordon Colburn answered the roll call.
Airport Manager Gary Shimun was present to represent Staff.
Rick Orton, Gary Blaylock and David Peugh were present to represent Judd DeBoer. David
Rickerson, and Chuck Sundby were present representing the City.
Rick Orton introduced the topic, which is the development of approximately 1700 acres of land on
three sides of the airport owned by Judd DeBoer, and its impact on the McCall Municipal Airport's
Master Plan development.
David Peugh outlined the evolution of the project and how it is currently envisioned. Considerable
discussion ensued.
In other business, Rick Fereday and Mike Anderson discussed the progress on developing a recording
system to document take offs and landings for around $3500. Along with cost and financing, the
unit's need to be frangible was noted.
Chairman Anderson directed Staffto develop a method to number hangers for identification.
There being no other business before the Committee, the meeting concluded at 3:53 p.m.
