Acoustic on the Green Lineup Announced for 2010
7th annual summer concert series in Historic Downtown Leesburg
will feature award‐winning artists and local favorites
Leesburg, VA (April 29, 2010) – The artist lineup for the 7th annual Acoustic on the Green
outdoor summer concert series has been announced. The 2010 season will feature eleven
concerts on Saturday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on the Town Green (25 West Market
Street), from June through August.
Concert dates and artists for the 2010 Acoustic on the Green series are:
June 12, 2010 Todd Wright
June 19, 2010 Chelsea Lee, with TrustFall opening
June 26, 2010 Naked Blue
July 10, 2010 Prescott Engle
July 17, 2010 Luke Brindley
July 24, 2010 Michael Sheppard

A few artist notes:
• Todd Wright’s 40x40 Project, 40 songs written and recorded in 40 weeks to benefit the
American Diabetes Association, has received national exposure. Todd co‐wrote the #1
European single “Smoke” for Lisa Lois.
• Naked Blue and Atlantic Records recording artist Chelsea Lee are working on new studio
albums and will play songs from those new albums.
• Prescott Engle will play songs from his debut album “Pursuit of Meaning,” released
earlier this year.
• Luke Brindley recently headlined a show at the Barns at Wolf Trap.
• Grammy nominee Michael Sheppard will be on tour with Milkshake this summer.
Michael is currently recording a new solo album.
• Grammy winner Jon Carroll is touring with Mary Chapin Carpenter, with a performance
at Wolf Trap on August 19, 2010.
• The Huffington Post called Jennifer Daniels’ song “Every Single Day” from her Undone
CD “the best song of 2009”.
In 2009, Acoustic on the Green was named a “Best Bet for Summer Concerts” by Washingtonian
Magazine. The concert series is a joint production between the Town of Leesburg and the
Leesburg businesses and individuals who advertise in the weekly program guides. Radio
partner for the 2010 season will be Cerphe’s Progressive Show (www.ecoplanetradio.com) and
media partner is Leesburg Today/Ashburn Today.
