kr.'Webb asked that $250.00 be transferred from Surplus"to
account 5005—BI7 to cover the cost of.pipe"and catch basin built
on Collins "Avenue. On motion of Mr.,Simons, seconded by
Graham, the funds were ordered transferredas requested.
Mr. Webb presented to the council a letter from Mr. "J. A.
Lum pej Jr.,stating thatmunieipalities,could have the county tex
assessor and the county tax collectvr<.act as Aeeeesor and'collegtor
for their ;taxes. After discussion it yas"the unan-imoua decisioh
of the council that it would not be to the advantage of Oil Harbour
Village to accept the offer of Mr. Lummus and that "he'beso advised
with an expression of our appreciation for his offer to help.
The council then.conaidered the annual report of tha ?village
operation.for the periodimding September 30 1949.< pn eotiop ,
duly made, seconded and carried the report was:approved.
There being no further busineas, afore the meeting om motiaa,
of Mr. Simons, seconded by Mr. Graham, the meeting was adjourned. '

Present were: Messrs. Bonneau, Graham, Jr Olson. and
Whittaker.
Absent:, Mr. Southerland
Also present were Mr. W. H. Webb, Town Manager," and Mary
Wetterer, Town Clerk.

Mr. Graham, as Acting Mayor, in the absence of Mr. Southerland,

The council then considered the:financial statement of t
village for the first gnarter'of the budget year and after.diedissien
the report was approved as submitted.
Thsz:Gcouncil then discussed the adviseability,of placing,e'mastsr
water Meter at 96th Strest to determine the line loss betwsezt the"
City of Miami Beach'meter and the take off. by the Town of Bay harbor
I8lands and Bat Barbour Village. This item was left for discussion
at a later' time.

Mr. Webb thenasked the council to reconsider the carrying of
payroll insuranceand after discussion it was decided that -this
insurance should be carried and on motion of Mr. Bonneau, seconded
by Mr. Simons, the town meager was `authorized to make this 'eipr
iturs up to $25.00 forpayrell insurance to adequately insure..tbe
transportation of funds from the bank to the village offices: -

The Council of Ball,Harbour Village met at the Administration
Building, Monday, February 20, 1950, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. .
Present were: Messrs. $onneau, Graham, Jr.,.Steens and
Whittaker.
Also present were: Mr. V. H. Webb, Town Manager and. Mary
Wettersr, Town Clerk.
The meeting was called to order by Mr. Ro1ert G. Graham, Jr. as
Assistant Mayor, and the minutes of the previous meeting of January 23,
1950 were read and approved.
In the absence of a Town Attorney, Mr. Webb, the Town Manager,
