On motion of Mr.,Simons, seconded by Graham, the funds were ordered transferredas requested. Mr. Webb presented to the council a letter from Mr. "J. A. Lum pej Jr.,stating thatmunieipalities,could have the county tex assessor and the county tax collectvr<.act as Aeeeesor and'collegtor for their ;taxes. After discussion it yas"the unan-imoua decisioh of the council that it would not be to the advantage of Oil Harbour Village to accept the offer of Mr. Lummus and that "he'beso advised with an expression of our appreciation for his offer to help. The council then.conaidered the annual report of tha ?village operation.for the periodimding September 30 1949.< pn eotiop , duly made, seconded and carried the report was:approved.
