HomeMy Public PortalAboutTOL PR 2010-04-30 Village office tours    Town of Leesburg  News Release  For Immediate Release     Contact:   Marantha Edwards  Economic Development Manager  medwards@leesburgva.gov  703‐737‐7019    Scott Gustavson  Windward Commercial  scott@windwardnova.com   703‐777‐8364    Weekly Tours of Village at Leesburg Offered    Walking tours begin each Thursday at 4:00 p.m.    Leesburg, VA (April 30, 2010) – Weekly walking tours of the new mixed‐use development  Village at Leesburg are being offered each Thursday.  The tours are primarily focused on the  office space available for lease, but will include the office condominiums, retail space,  residential apartments and amenities.  The tours start at 4:00 p.m. at the Metropolitan  Apartments clubhouse and last approximately 45 minutes.  RSVPs are not required, but anyone  interested in scheduling a tour can contact Scott Gustavson, Kevin Nicholas or Matt  Sutermeister with Windward Commercial at 703‐777‐8364.     “We first offered these tours back in November and they were very well received,” said Scott  Gustavson.  “The Village at Leesburg is unlike anything else in the marketplace.  Businesses  have a great variety of options here at Village at Leesburg.”    Office opportunities at Village at Leesburg begin as small as 1,000 square feet for start‐up and  small businesses.  For larger users, spaces encompassing up to 100,000 square feet and  multiple floors in a building are available.  In addition to the office space for lease, Village at  Leesburg also offers office condos for sale, with up to 10,000 square feet.       Village at Leesburg is a vertically‐integrated, four‐story, town center‐style development which  will contain 541,000 square feet of retail, 155,000 square feet of office and 335 luxury multi‐ family residences.  Retail tenants that have signed leases or are open include Wegmans Food  Markets, Coldwater Creek, Books‐A‐Million, L.A. Fitness, Travinia Italian Kitchen, Cobb Theatres,  King Pinz and Potomac River Running.  A Cypress Equities company and Kettler are developing  TOL PR 2010‐04‐30 Village tours  Page 2  the project. The Carlyle Group is the lead equity partner in the development.  KLNB Retail is  handling the leasing of the retail sections.  Sperry Van Ness/Vaaler Real Estate is handling the  office leasing and Windward Commercial is handling the office condo sales.  For more  information, visit www.villageatleesburg.com.       #  # #
