Motion to approve Zoning Ordinance Amendment TLOA-2017-0005 establishing
definitions and use standards for seasonal weather enclosures, temporary shade
structures and tents for restaurants and other similar businesses, such as brewpubs and
microbreweries in the B-1 District on the basis that the amendments further the
objectives of the Town Plan and that the proposal would serve the public necessity,
convenience, general welfare and good zoning practice, subject to the following
amendments to limit tents to rear yards and to limit coverage to 50% of the space.
Seasonal weather enclosures and shade structures if attached to the building will
require BAR approval.
