AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE FROM THE FEDERAL REVENUE.SHARING TRUST FUND.
WHEREAS, The State and Local Fiscal Assistance Act of 1972, Title I of
Public Law 95-512 was approved October 20, 1972.
WHEREAS, Section 51.40 of Part 51, Chapter I, Subtitle B, Title B, Title 31
of the Code of Federal Regulations provides as follows:
A recipient Government which receives entitlement funds under the Act shall;
(c) Provide for.the expenditure of entitlement funds in
accordance with the laws and procedures applicable
to the expenditure of its own revenues;
WHEREAS, persuant to the said State and Local Fiscal Assistance Act, the
proper legal officers of the City of Richmond, Indiana, have established
a trust fund known as the Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more
money than was appropriated in the annual budget;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND,
WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA:
SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation, the
following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered
set apart out of the Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund for certain
ordinary and necessary capital expenditures, said sum being subject
to all laws governing the same.

These funds are to be appropriated for the following project:
Station Wagon (Fire Department)
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and .after
its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State
of Indiana governing emergency appropriations.

EXCERPTS OF THE MEETING OF THE COMMON
COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND. INDIANA
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session
In the Council Chambers in the Municipal Building of said City June 6.
1977 , at the hour of 7:30 p.m.
Councilman Carter presided with the following members present: Messrs.
Ahaus , erman Cornett Bistro
Merchanthouse , Mills , Paust , Williams ,
Absent: None
The following business was had to -wit:

The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the
Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of
Richmond, Indiana, on the dates of Ma 19 and Ma.

Said notices stated that a public hearing` Wo�u'I�e Feld on the 6th day o
�June, 1S77 , by the Common Council to consider additional appropria-
oti- ns as provi for in Ordinance No. 3219-1977 , within the City of
Richmond, Indiana. The proof of pubiicat on and posting of notices were
examined and found to be correct and in order. Councilman Mills
moved the proof of publication and posting of notices be re-ce- a an or erect
filed. seconded by Councilman Paust and on voice vote the motion
was carried.
The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 3219-1977 ,
Councilman Cornett moved for engrossment of Ordinance No. 3219-1977,
seconded by Councilman Paust and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.
Councilman Mills moved to suspend the rules and place Ordinance No.
3219-1977 an third reading by title only, seconded by Councilman Paust.
After hearing all persons present, Ordinance No. 3219-1977 was placed on
final passage or rejection and on a call of the roll e o awing was recorded:
