A.V. Symington Aquatic Center Season Passes Now On Sale
Leesburg, VA (May 5, 2010) – Passes are now on sale for the Town of Leesburg’s A.V.
Symington Aquatic Center. Admission passes are available to Town residents only. Residents
may purchase a 10‐visit pass with the option to add 5 additional visits at any time throughout
the season. For Youth (ages 3 to 15) and Seniors (age 60 and older), a 10‐visit pass costs $40
and a 5‐visit add‐on is $20. For Adults, a 10‐visit pass costs $50 and 5‐visit add‐on is $25. The
Aquatic Center will officially open for the summer on May 29, 2010.
The Aquatic Center’s 2010 Season will run from May 29 through September 6, 2010. On
weekdays from May 31 through June 18, the Aquatic Center will be open from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
On weekends, and every day beginning on June 21, the Aquatic Center will be open to Town
residents from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and will open to the general public at 12:00 p.m.
Daily admission charges are as follows:

The A.V. Symington Aquatic Center is located within Ida Lee Park and features a 600’ lazy river,
large slide tower with two body flumes, drop slide, 25 yard lap pool, two gang slides, water pipe
fall, crossing feature, dumping buckets, little squirt whale, and floating snake, plus a large
“beach” area with bubblers and water fountains, a concession stand, and grass picnic area.
Outdoor pool party packages and shaded pavilion rentals are available. Please call 703‐737‐

Programs and classes, including Stroke Clinics and Fun Nights, will be held at the Aquatic Center
