NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PLAINFIELD PLAN COMMISSION PLAINFIELD, ILLINOIS
On Tuesday evening, September 3, 2019 at 7:00 p.m., a public hearing will be held by the Plan
Commission of the Village of Plainfield in the Village Hall Board Room, 24401 W. Lockport
Street, Plainfield, Illinois, for the purpose of hearing and considering testimony for a special use
permit to allow a Planned Development of 278 single-family homes on approximately 98 acres into
the Village of Plainfield. The subject property is located generally southeast of the corner of 143rd
Street and Steiner in Will County, Illinois and legally described as follows:
Parcel 1: 06-03-08-100-003-0000
The Southwest Quarter Of The Northwest Quarter Of Section 8, Township 36 North, Range 9,
East Of The Third Principal Meridian. (Except That Part Taken For Road Widening Per R2007-
151003), In Will County, Illinois.

The West Half Of The Southwest Quarter Of Section 8, Township 36 North, Range 9, East Of
The Third Principal Meridian, (Except The South 567 Feet Thereof) And (Except The East
798.50 Feet Thereof) & (Except That Part Taken For Road Widening Per R2005-066843 / Pcl
