Van Heiden moved to approve the minutes of the July regular meeting. Werkman seconded the motion. All ayes, carried.
Werkman moved to approve the Treasurer’s Report for July. Buseman seconded the motion. All ayes, carried.
Van Heiden moved to approve the following bills for payment. Buseman seconded the motion. All ayes, carried.

Nathan Vogel presented the Public Works report.
David Riekena presented the Fire Department report. Snittjer Grain donated a trailer to the Fire Department. All of the necessary paper work has been received. City Clerk will get
trailer insured and licensed.
Wendy Lage presented the Clerk report. The City has been accepted for the Black Hawk Gaming Grant application process for the Memorial Building upgrades. An application has been submitted
to the William Riekena Trust.
Don Moore, Ryken Engineering, presented an update on the sewer project.
The City received a report from the Sheriff’s Department regarding the speeding issues on 4th St. The City will move forward with lowering the speed limit to 25mph on 4th St. along
with updating school zone signs and replacing any faded signs.
Buseman moved to approve the closing a portion of Adams St. August 23rd for a business promotion. Van Heiden seconded the motion. All ayes, carried.
Van Heiden moved to approved outdoor service area for the Wellsburg Tap for the business promotion August 23rd. Buseman seconded the motion. All ayes, carried.
At 7:55 p.m. the Mayor declared the public hearing on the proposed FY 2014 budget amendment open. Being there we no oral or written objection the Mayor declared the public hearing
closed at 7:56 p.m.
Werkman moved to approve the FY 2014 budget amendment. Van Heiden seconded the motion. All ayes, carried.
Van Heiden moved to approve liquor license for the Wellsburg Tap. Werkman seconded the motion. All ayes, carried.
Buseman moved to approve Class B Beer permit for The Wellsburger pending dram insurance. Van Heiden seconded the motion. All ayes, carried.
Van Heiden moved to adjourn the meeting. Werkman seconded the motion. All ayes, carried.
