COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, FEBRUARY 2, 2015
CALL TO ORDER
The February 2, 2015, City Council “Pre-Meeting” was convened at 5:45 P.M. by
Mayor Eric Struemph.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Branch, Costales, Graham, Henry, Mihalevich, Prather,
Scrivner, and Ward
Absent: Hussey and Medin
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Consent Agenda
Public Works Director Matt Morasch mentioned a typographical error in the cover
memo to Bid 2775, and that bid amounts for the two bidders were transposed.
The correct bid amount for the winning bid should have been listed as $87,830.
He pointed out that the remaining bid documents were correct; the error was only
in the cover memo. Mayor Struemph indicated that would be pointed out whe n
the Council votes to adopt the agenda in the following meeting.
Announcements
Planning & Protective Services Director Janice McMillan stated she would like to
make an announcement about the February 9 Council Work Session which will
be held to discuss the issue of the solid waste RFP process.
Informal Calendar
Councilman Henry stated he intended to remove Bill 2014-100 (ride sharing)
from the Informal Calendar tonight and place it on final passage.
