Hennessy, Jr. on Display at Leesburg Town Exhibit Hall
Exhibit opening during Leesburg’s First Friday
on May 7, 2010 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Leesburg, VA (May 6, 2010) – An exhibit of
selected works by renowned courtroom artist
William J. Hennessy, Jr. will open at the Leesbu
Town Exhibit Hall on Friday, May 7, 2010 as pa
Leesburg’s First Friday activities from 6:00 to 9:00
p.m. The artist will be on hand from 7:00 to 8:00
p.m. to discuss his work. Copies of his book, ALL
RISE: Courts, Crime and Courtroom Art, will be
available for sale at the exhibit opening.

Ashburn resident William J. Hennessy has been working as a courtroom artist in the
Washington D.C. area for more than 25 years. During that time, he has illustrated countless
high profile, precedent setting cases. His work has appeared on virtually every major national
and international television network and many major newspapers.
The exhibit, which will run through July 30, 2010, showcases nineteen of Hennessy’s works.
Cases and events featured in the exhibit include the cocaine possession trial of then D.C. Mayor
Marion Barry, the D.C. Sniper attacks, the trial of Vice President Cheney’s Chief of Staff Lewis
“Scooter” Libby, the impeachment of President Bill Clinton, and the Microsoft anti‐trust trial.
