• AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 350 OF THE
GREENCASTLE CODE (TRASH REMOVAL)
BE IT ORDAINED AND ADOPTED BY TIME COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GREENCASTLE, INDIANA:
SECTION 1. CHAPTER 350 -10 is hereby amended to read as follows:
CHAPTER 350 -10
350 -10 Trash and Refuse Pick -up and Disposal Services and
Charges.
Dollars) The City of Greencastle shall levy a c::arge o;. Eight
(58.00) per month for trash and refuse pick -up and
disposal services, and curbside recycling services rendered by
the City.
(b) The trash and refuse pick -up and disposal services
shall be rendered only to private residences and individual units
used as private residences and shall not be rendered to
commercial establishments or businesses of any nature within the
confines of the City of Greencastle.
(c) The

services to each private residence and individual unit used as a
private residence of the City of Greencastle no less than once
per week under such schedule.
(d) The charges levied herein shall be billed by and
through the Department of Waterworks of the City of Greencastle
by adding the same to the monthly water bill of such private
residence or individual unit used as a private residence of the
City receiving such service.
(e) Effective January 1, 1989, a deposit fee of ten dollars
and nd disposal services. 0) will apply to all new users of trash and refuse pick -up
SECTION 2.
This Ordinance shall take effect on May 1, 1992.
