BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows: SECTION 1. That the following described territory, adjacent to its corporate boundaries, be annexed to and declared to be a part of the said City of Richmond, Indiana: being located in Wayne Town- ship, Wayne County, Indiana, and being more particularly described as follows; to -wit: Being a part of the Southeast Quarter of Fractional Section 1, Township 13 North, Range 2 West, and a part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 6, Town- ship 13 North, Range I West, in Wayne Township, Wayne County, Indiana, and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point in the present corporation line of the City of Richmond, Indiana, said point being the southwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 6, and running thence north, along the west line of said Southwest Quarter, and along said corporation line, 1387.66 feet; thence north 89 degrees and 42 minutes west, along said corporation line, 452.00 feet; thence north, along said corporation line, 238.50 feet; thence north 88 degrees and 03 minutes east, along said corporation line, 963.33 feet; thence north 87 degrees and 18 minutes east, along said corporation line, 663.28 feet; thence south 0 degrees and 39 minutes east 1681.56 feet to a point on the south line of said Southwest Quarter; thence south 89 degrees and 28 minutes west, along said south line, 1192.45 feet to the place of beginning, con- taining an area of 47.672 acres, there being 45.105 acres in the southwest Quarter of said Section 6, and 2.567 acres in the Southeast Quarter of said Fractional Section 1. 6MK 12 PAGE,283 ORDINANCE 3222 Page 2 SECTION 2. The terms and conditions applicable to the annexation of the afore described real estate in Section 1 are as follows: That the said real estate annexed hereby shall be annexed into the City of Richmond, Indiana, and oned R-2, Single Family Residential., TRACT 1, being a part of the 47.67.2 acres previously described in Section 1, and being more particularly de- scribed as follows: Beginning at the northeast corner of the above mentioned 47.672 acres tract, and running thence, from said be- ginning point, south 0 degrees and 39 minutes east, along the east line of said tract, 700.00 feet; thence south 87 degrees and 18 minutes west, parallel to the north line of said tract, 663.28 feet; thence north 0 degrees and 39 minutes west, parallel to the east line of said tract, 700.00 feet to a point in the north line thereof; thence north 87 degrees and 18 minutes east 663.28 feet to the place of beginning, containing an area of 10.651 acres. SECTION 3. The terms and conditions applicable to this annexation as set forth in Section 2 above, are deemed just and reasonable. SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and the publication as by law required.
