AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A "SPECIAL USE" IN AN R-2 ONE -FAMILY
RESIDENCE DISTRICT, OF ORDINANCE NO, 2325-1968, COMMONLY KNOWN
AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, ADOPTED
JUNE 3, 1968.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, as follows:
SECTION 1. As provided in Article 22, Section 22.01 and more
specifically provided in Article 48 of Ordinance No. 2325-1968,
commonly known as the Zoning. Ordinance of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, the following described use of the following described
real estate is allowed as a Special Use for a dental office at
2108 Chester Boulevard, in the City of Richmond, Indiana; more
particularly described; to wit:
S 1/2 Pt S D SE Sec 20 Twp 14 R 1
SECTION 2. As a condition of the aforesaid Special Use and as
an additional restriction on said use, the following requirements
shall hereafter and at all times be met by the owner, leasee or
any person, firm or corporation using such real estate.
SECTION 3, WHEREAS, a study of this Ordinance was ducted by the
Richmond City Plan Commission the --2- g cA day of , 1977,
at which time remonstrances were heard from all part es interested
in or affected by this Ordinance.
SECTION 4. WHEREAS, the vote of the Richmond City Plan Commission
was to 0 in favor of/' recommending the
passa a of Ordinance No. 3224-1977.
SECTION 5. The Planning Director of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
is herebyauthorized and directed upon passage of this Ordinance,
to record and approve the issuance of an Improvement Location Permit
for the establishment of the use herein allowed.
SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval as by law required.

Re: Ordinance No,3224-1977 - Plan Commission Case 77-9,
Delynn and Diana Stults requesting Special Use for
a Dental Office in an R-2 One -Family Resident District
Dear Mr. Carter, Members of the Council and Mrs. Trimble:
The Richmond City Plan Commission held a public hearing on Tuesday,
June 28, 1977, at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the Richmond
Municipal Building to hear the request of nelynn and Diana Stults,
represented by Stanley R. Combs, 203 South 17th Street asking for
a Special Use for a Dental Office in an R-2 One-Fart,'ly Resident
District located at 2108 Chester Boulevard.
There were no remonstrators in favor of or against this petition.
Twenty-two letters had been sent to adjoining property owners and
five (5) were returned in favor and zero (0) opposed.
It was the unanimous vote, nine (9) to zero (0), of the Plan
Commission to allow this Special Use in an R-2 One -Family Resi-
dent District.
