AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 3112-1976 KNOWN AS THE BUDGET ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the Common Council of Richmond, Indiana has adopted an ordinance
appropriating monies for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1977 and
ending December 31, 1977 inclusive.
WHEREAS, this ordinance establishes positions and salaries of all personnel
in the departments.
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Safety and Fire Division has a vacancy
of one Deputy Fire Marshal and one. Drill Master, and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond desires to combine these two positions
and establish a new position and titled Education Officer.
WHEREAS, the ordinance now establishes three positions of Deputy Fire
Marshal and the City of Richmond desires to abolish one of these positions
as recited.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RICHMOND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 3112-1976 be, in the same hereby is,
amended so that the same shall read as follows:
1 Education Officer $12,560.00
2 Deputy Fire Marshall $11,585.00
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effective from and after
its passage and approval by the Mayor of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
