HomeMy Public PortalAboutRES2005-02_Intent to Exchange Real Property_05242005RESOLUTION DECLARING INTENT TO EXCHANGE REAL PROPERTY BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to the provisions of Title 50, Chapter 14, Idaho Code, the City Council of the City of Iona, Idaho, hereby declares its intent to exchange certain real property owned by the City and more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for other real property owned by Jay Johnson and Brenda Johnson, husband and wife, of Iona, Idaho, which property is more particularly described in Exhibit `B" attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof. Such proposed exchange will be without further monetary or other consideration and without a formal appraisal. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be conducted on the at day of June, 2005, at the hour of 7:30 p.m., at the City Hall, 3548 N. Main, Iona, Idaho, for the purpose of considering such exchange and that the City Clerk be and hereby is directed to publish a Notice of Hearing and a summary of such declaration in the official newspaper not less than fourteen (14) days prior to the date of such hearing.
