EXCHANGE REAL PROPERTY
BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to the provisions of Title 50, Chapter 14, Idaho Code,
the City Council of the City of Iona, Idaho, hereby declares its intent to exchange certain real
property owned by the City and more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for
other real property owned by Jay Johnson and Brenda Johnson, husband and wife, of Iona, Idaho,
which property is more particularly described in Exhibit `B" attached hereto and by this
reference made a part hereof. Such proposed exchange will be without further monetary or other
consideration and without a formal appraisal.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be conducted on the at day of
June, 2005, at the hour of 7:30 p.m., at the City Hall, 3548 N. Main, Iona, Idaho, for the purpose
of considering such exchange and that the City Clerk be and hereby is directed to publish a
Notice of Hearing and a summary of such declaration in the official newspaper not less than
fourteen (14) days prior to the date of such hearing.

Beginning at a point that is S89°40'13"W along the Section line 718.77 feet and South
1266.14 feet from the North One -Quarter Corner of Section 12, Township 2 North, Range
38 East of the Boise Meridian, said point being the Southwest Corner of Lot 9, Block 4 of
Mountain Ridge Estates Division No. 1 and running thence S88°56'35"W 397.40 feet;
thence N18°32'51"E 72.84 feet; thence N47°21'04"E 208.17 feet; thence N32°42'29"W

Beginning at a point that is S89°40'13"W 1409.96 feet along the section line from the North One -
Quarter Corner of Section 12, Township 2 North, Range 38 East of the Boise Meridian, and
running thence SO°10"15"W 335.35 feet; thence N89°53'02"W 300.35 feet to the Southeast
Corner of property described by Instrument No. 799873; thence NO°19'47"W 333.00 feet along
the East line of the property described by Said Instrument No. 799873 to Said section line; thence
N89°40'13"E 303.28 feet along the section line to the point of beginning, containing 2.32 acres.
