Home My Public Portal AboutResolutions-2011-55RESOLUTION 2011 -55 A RESOLUTION TO CERTIFY 2012 -2013 TIFFIN, IOWA TIF REVENUE REQUEST TO THE JOHNSON COUNTY, IOWA AUDITOR WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin, Iowa is required to certify the TIF Increment Tax revenue request for fiscal year 2012 -2013 to the Johnson County, Iowa Auditor per Iowa Code Section 403.19 Tax Increment Financing Indebtedness. WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin, Iowa needs to prepare and certify with the Johnson County, Iowa Auditor's Office by December 1, 2011 the estimated amounts needed to fund indebtedness for Capital Improvement Projects identified and approved by the City Council of Tiffin within the named Urban Renewal Areas, Iowa to expend appropriated TIF Funds as the City Council deems necessary for the continuation of growth and betterment of the community. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL 0 F THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA to authorize Mayor and City Clerk to prepare and submit to the Auditor of Johnson County, Iowa an updated 2011 TIF Certification request.
